Sketches and fun stuff.

Yeah so I've been doing a few things for Fiverr here and there and this is one of the gigs. They wanted a hustler clown that isn't mean or violent just out to get some green.

It was close to Halloween and I asked myself "why not Zombify a friend?" so here are Nikki Gatlin and Thomas Ashley as zombies.

another Fiverr gig.

More zombification. Heather Jordan

new illustration

I literally had this thought one day. My thoughts are completely random and sometimes things like this happen.

Hey what's up bros? My name is Pewwwdiepie

I just recently discovered a youtuber by the handle of Pewdiepie. He. Is. HILARIOUS!! I can't stop watching his videos! So in honor of Mr. Pewdiepie I drew this short comic staring him and his friend who occasionally plays scary games with him....at his own peril.

Watch his videos when you get a chance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uej6nF17PE&feature=g-u-u

This is another one of my Sketchy word of the day. Someone asked me to draw a sad robot. I'm not too thrilled with the border though.

Harry Potter will always be my first love.

Well ya'll. I have to admit it.....I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!! I will always love Harry with all my heart! I've read all the books, seen all the movies and still I can't get enough. And so in honor or the great wizard and his friends I drew this.

I even made a drawing video on youtube for it.

Told ya I'd be back.

Sorry its been a while. I've been kind of busy with being a Mommy and a freelance illustrator and the whole wifey thing...so yeah. I have more goodies though.

I know, I know...I really need to invest in a scanner. The proportions look weird because this picture was taken from my digital camera. So Yeah.

Its been a while....since I could look at myself straight. Sorry got that song stuck in my head.

Well hello again. I know, I know...it's been a while since I last posted but I had to finish a project for my client. Anyhoo....here are my newest Sketchy sketches.

Okay...this is one of those times I really wish I had a scanner. Sorry for the bad quality....anyway. This is quite possibly my most favorite part in the whole Avengers movie. I laughed so hard! If you've never seen it, don't worry it's not a spoiler. The part with the Hulk and Loki is also quite funny.

My version of Captain America. Did you know the same guy that played the Human Torch in The Fantastic Four is the one who played Captain America? Surprised the hell out of me. He doesn't even look the same.

Once upon a boring night.....

Well, I was bored. Really bored......really....really.....really bored....so I decided I would do Stevies do best. Draw.
My little eggy friends. Most of them were afraid to get cracked and eaten but there were a rare few who were weirdly happy about it. They scared me a little.

And our Sketchy Word of the Day is....drum roll please......FRUSTRATION!! When you are a knitter like me you know the meaning of frustration in fact you are quite possibly very well acquainted indeed.

Sketch of the day "Mile"

Word of the day for my daily sketch was Mile. For some reason it brought me back to a conversation I had with my best friend (who would be my soul mate had I been a lesbian) We had a conversation about girls farting. She said "you know its hard for a chick that has to fart. We have to hide it or find some ways keep it in." and I said ..."Then God forbid you go swimming and have to fart. There'd be no hiding that one." so.....yeah.

It was Friday the 13th, and Netflix had all the Jason movies on. So what did I do? I vegged out of course! Watched every one of them and got the urge to draw the master of disaster himself.

I've been drawing my friends on facebook to get some practice in and this is my friend Jimmy Britt who recently suffered from a stroke. So to make him feel better I drew this.

Inspiration used is Inspiration earned.

I'm working on my portfolio so I can work my way up to being a comic book artist and just all around awesome illustrator. So here are a few things I've been working on...just to get a little practice in.

Kate, a friend of mine. The pose kind of reminded me of Uma Thurman's character in Pulp Fiction.

This is a character for a friend of mine's new comic he's writing. I need to get the muscle placement right and the proportions correct.

Characters for my own web comic I a going to start here soon.

I'm turning this in to Flash Magazine. I'm hoping I can be featured in the zine. That would be awesome!

Tattoo design. Next comes the colors and shading. It was difficult to get the cogs right.

Just for the hell of it. Thought it would be funny so see what all the other eggs think of the rotten one.

a painting I had done for my husband. He's got it hanging over his computer desk now.

I think my favorite thing is the reflection of colors in the pearls. I love pearls.

Another painting but this time for a friend of mine. Wanted it to represent something like happiness in a dark place. I named it hope.

My oldest son. The proportions of his face aren't right but I like the way the shading came out.

a tattoo design I want to get on my thigh. I can't wait to get it done now!

And that is what I've been doing lately. I am going to start doing daily sketches so I can get faster at drawing and get used to getting the proportions and foreshadowing correct.

Yup.

What have I been up to?

Well, I have been up to lots of things! One major thing is....I started an ETSY shop!! Don't break open the bubbly yet! There is still alot of work to do but here are just a few things I have uploaded already.
this is the newest addition to my little family. Allow me to introduce Cale, and yes he is a boy but he was the only model I had.

This is a knitted headband with hand sculpted polymer clay buttons. Super easy to make!

And this here is my personalized wall hanger.

These were so much fun to make and I really hope I can sell a few of them. Mamma needs a new car! Kidding, kidding. Or am I?

Anyhoo, here is how to get to my shop. Hopefully I'll have something you like! Take a look.
